Teaching the Agility Rear Cross/Switch with One Jump

This is how I taught Merlin the rear cross (switch), using just one jump and a clicker. It’s also a how-to video for anyone interested in trying the same technique. You can skip the clicker if you want, but it really helps a lot.
I taught my first agility dog the rear cross using an entire sequence of jumps. That did work, but it took him a while to really “get it.” I used the one-jump method with my second dog and it worked really well, quickly giving my beginner dog a solid understanding of the maneuver.
